Zalikha and I. Zalikha is a Palestinian kindegarten teacher in the Old City. She and her kids have to navigate through checkpoints on the way to school. In 2002 she would risk her life delivering food to families who were under army curfew. She has been shot at by soldiers and called all kinds of names, from "dirty Arab" to "bitch".
