We left Bethlehem and stopped by the Tent of Nations, an organization that is fostering Israeli-Palestinian dialogue. The "Tent of Nations" is on a Palestinian farm. It is sorrounded on 4 sides by Israeli settlements. Some of the settlers are trying to build roads that cut into the farm. They have also came by and cut down olive trees, a main source of income. In spite of all this, Daoud Nassar refuses to allow himself to hate. He has had Palestinians, Israelis and internationals over at his farm. These include settlers.
It is really great to meet all of these various organizations that are working to bring peace to Israel and Palestine.
